Shaun Hill is often referred to as Chandler Bing due to the
fact that they both have a similar job, wear very similar, if not the same, clothes, have same humor, have the same homosexual
"quality", have the same mannerisms, have same likes and dislikes as well as the fact that they look fairly similar at times.

Chandler is said to be of Scottish ancestry in several episodes. Ross even attempted to learn how to play the bagpipes so he could perform at their wedding. Chandler also mentions

Chandler has kissed all the other
five Friends members, although not all the kisses were seen on screen. He kissed all three female characters in "The One With All the Kissing", Joey in "The One With the Monkey", and in "The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister", it is implied that Chandler got drunk and kissed Ross, but this was not seen on screen. Also, he was the first one of the
gang that kissed Rachel, in "The One Where the Stripper Cries".
Chandler, as well as Rachel, lived under the same roof as
all of the other friends.
In France, Chandler was voiced by two different actors: Emmanuel Curtil (seasons 1 to 8) and Anthony Nouel (seasons 9 and 10). The characters Rachel and
Joey also had different French-language voice-actors for the last two seasons. This is mainly because the former voicer wanted
a raise in salary because the actors in America
were paid one million dollars per episode.
Chandler is the only male friend to see Monica's, Rachel's
and Phoebe's breasts.
Chandler has been seen naked (or at

Chandler's last line in the series
is "Where?" when the others suggest to go get coffee.
Chandler is the only person out of
the 6 friends not to have any siblings.

Perry, the real-life father of Matthew Perry, appeared in "The One With
Rachel's New Dress" as the father of Rachel's current boyfriend.
Chandler has mentioned enjoying movies such as Moulin Rouge (The One With
the Memorial Service), Annie (The One Where
Joey tells Rachel) and Miss Congeniality (The One After
Joey and Rachel Kiss).
The name Chandler
is actually named for an archaic trade - a chandler was a candlemaker (Although Joey once states, "It's not even a name. It
kinda sounds like chandelier, but it's not.").
In The One With
All the Jealousy, Chandler, whose name comes from the archaic trade of candle making, mentions a
stripper called miss Crystal Chandelier, and Joey says "Well, sure, you name a kid that what do you expect him to grow up
to be?"
Chandler and Ross' band in college

Chandler is a bedwetter; in The One With
the Two Parties, while supporting Rachel during her parent's divorce, he jokingly recomended the
"carefully regimented program of denial... and, and wetting the bed" which he himself relied on as a child.
